Trauma has a way of making us question our worth.
Trauma is like a shadow that sticks around, affecting how we connect with others, how we see ourselves, and how we navigate life. It’s not just a one-time event; it’s like a ripple that touches everything.
Sound familiar to you?
How trauma may feel for some people:
- Trauma can create a story in our heads that says we're not good enough, that we're to blame for what happened.
- Many times it feels impossible to find the strength to say, "I am enough," and I am willing to do the work to heal.
- It feels really hard to get close to people or to share what's really going on inside.
- When you feel heard and supported, you can embrace hope; it’s about giving yourself the opportunity to feel a bit braver everyday.
Life after trauma can feel liberating and brave; it’s about facing challenges with a renewed sense of self.
What our Sessions are like
From Trauma Therapy
At Inclusion Online Therapy, we understand that healing from trauma is a unique and courageous journey. We believe in a holistic approach to trauma recovery and integrate evidence-based techniques, mindfulness practices, and the trauma incident reduction model to help you process difficult memories and emotions, fostering a new path towards healing.
Unlike traditional therapy, the Trauma Incident Reduction Model is designed to help clients alleviate the symptoms of trauma. A Trauma Incident Reduction Session empowers clients to tell their stories in a contained and safe environment. The therapist begins the process by establishing safety and stabilization. As the past trauma is examined; we work towards releasing resistance, painful emotions, and negative thought patterns. We work with you to help you identify coping mechanisms, build resilience, and empower you to reclaim a sense of safety.
How can Therapy help?
Convert adversity into strength.
In our trauma-informed sessions, we recognize that words alone may not capture the depth of your experience. Through journaling, meditation and other energy psychology modalities we offer alternative avenues for healing and self-expression, allowing you to communicate and process trauma in ways that resonate with you.
Together, we work towards rebuilding strength, boosting self-esteem, and creating a sense of well-being that goes beyond just surviving, making way for a life reshaped by healing and hope. Take the first step towards healing and reclaiming your life.
