Talk therapy for Anxiety Disorders

Anxiety is a normal emotion that we all have experienced now and then. We have felt it before taking a test, dealing with a problem at work or maybe before making an important decision.

But do you find yourself often on edge, tense, and worried?
Are you feeling unsettled by thoughts about your finances, relationships, your health, or your future? Maybe there might be times you feel intense fear to the point of panic.

Perhaps you are self-conscious about everyday social interactions and worry about others judging you or being embarrassed or ridiculed.

Has it become so difficult to relax or feel inner peace? Are you finding it harder to deal with day-to-day activities at home or work?.
You don’t have to deal with these feelings alone, anxiety therapists can help!

What to Expect From Anxiety Therapy

A therapist will learn from you the challenges you are facing and tailor treatment based on your needs.

You will be supported in this process to help you understand why you feel the way you do, what experiences serve as triggers for you, and how you might change your reaction to them.

You will learn healthy ways to express emotions, and gradually practice coping skills learned in therapy.

Getting Help for Stress Management

A therapist will learn about the major life stressor(s) you are experiencing and how they are impacting your day-to-day life.

Treatment for adjustment disorders and stress management is usually brief. If stressors are ongoing, and create persistent feelings of depression or anxiety, you may benefit from long term treatment depending on your needs.

Therapy will help you learn why the stressful event affected you so much and explore ways to reduce the stressors in your life. You will learn stress-management and coping skills to help you get back to your normal routine.

Are you still grieving?

Grief Therapy
Losing a loved one is one of the most painful situations in the human experience, but grief is not just about losing a loved one, it may involve losing a body part, the end of a relationship or permanently losing something dear to us.

Do you wake up frequently in the middle of the night thinking about what happened? Do you spend countless hours wondering how you are going to survive this devastating blow? Have you been feeling sad and hopeless most days? Do you feel guilty about things you “could have” or “should have” done for your loved ones? Are you feeling fatigued and without motivation to move forward?

Grieving is a very individual process and may look very different for each individual. Through therapy you will be provided with a safe space to allow you to grieve, feel  and express some of the emotions that usually accompany a loss. Grieving without expectations! Tell your story, the goal of this process is to support you and help you integrate your loss by being there for you.

Is it your ADHD, Anxiety or Depression?

Therapy for Adults with ADHD

Adults with ADHD often find themselves struggling with anxiety and depression over not being able to live up to their own expectations.  They often feel misunderstood and with a sense of hopelessness that can lead them to anxiety and depression.

This disorder may lead to rumination, procrastination, and sometimes feeling like a fraud. ADHD is a neurological disorder that affects how you function and how you relate to others.

Have you ever wondered why you have a hard time relaxing or finding pleasure in the things that you normally enjoy? How about having so much noise in your head that you become paralyzed? Do you often feel frustrated when people tell you “Just do it, all you have to do is focus”? You may be experiencing ADHD.

In therapy you can learn new adaptive skills that can help you with everyday tasks. Our therapists help patients design and implement self-care practices and lifestyle changes that include planning and prioritizing their mental health.

One of our goals in therapy is to provide a structured and supportive environment to help you tap into your  strengths and  increase your self awareness as it relates to the condition.
Are you ready for change?

Do you sometimes feel like an impostor? Are you struggling with a sense of guilt about your success or your responsibilities with your family? Are you conflicted about what you want to do and what you are expected to do in the name of the family? Do you ever feel like you have a hard time fitting in? Do you have a history of trauma in relation to your immigration or migration experience?
If you are struggling with some of these issues, it may be time to work with a therapist that can help you address some of those feelings.
Inclusion Online Therapy is proud to provide mental health services that are sensitive to the cultural experience and needs of the Latinx community. This involves incorporating cultural values and experiences that are important and relevant to us.
In this space, our therapists are open to address the stress and trauma that sometimes arises from the immigrant and first gen experience. We work with individuals that have faced generational trauma due to the immigration process, conflict due to navigating two cultures, parentification, code switching, stigma, and attachment trauma.
Our therapists have a culturally sensitive and responsive approach to meet the needs and experiences of the Latinx community. They understand the cultural,  social, and political factors that impact the Latinx community and how they affect their mental health and well-being.
If you are a Latinx individual seeking mental health services, it can be helpful to search for providers who identify as Latinx or have experience working with the Latinx community.
